We are excited to welcome our 2026 summer interns to the team for a nine-week immersive experience in economic development and regional workforce initiatives.

Please join us in welcoming:
• Emma Thomason – Louisiana State University – Aspiring Physician Assistant (PA)
• Emma Lawler – Texas Tech University – Business Major
• Ky Back Li – University of Houston – Economics Major

Throughout their internship, these talented students will contribute to multiple projects supporting our mission while gaining firsthand exposure to economic development in action. In addition, they will engage with guest speakers and industry leaders to learn how economic trends, workforce development, and business growth impact our region.
