There has been a fiber cut in the area, many fiber customers with other providers are without Internet. The great thing about Skynet's wireless network is we are able to reroute traffic to insure our customers stay connected. However due to this fiber outage, you may experience intermittent slow downs in service.

We’re getting reports that many popular and in demand servers are having technical issues. This is not related to anything local to you. Our customer’s do not need to reboot their devices. Issues like this are at the carrier(s) level and resolved on their own.

Attention Skynet customers: Please be aware that one of our upstream providers currently has a major Houston area FIBER outage. Their teams have been dispatched; however, because of Skynet's flexible WIRELESS network, we are able to re-route customers to our other upstream providers. Some may still experience slower or intermittent connections during this time. We appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you!

Hello everyone, right now some might be experiencing slower speeds and/or longer lag. One of our main fiber runs was cut in Needville. We are waiting for our providers to get it repaired. Thank you everyone.

Sorry for the long wait for an update. We are working through all the work orders we have. If you have not contacted us please do so we can get you on the route. We are having power spikes which cause issues with electronics around our towers and the customers around there. Thank you for being understanding we hope everyone has recovered from the hurricane.

New update on our efforts to restore services following the recent hurricane. Initially, we deployed 30 generators in the affected areas. Currently, we have fewer than twenty generators still in operation.
Our team has been working tirelessly, around the clock, to ensure the network is fully operational and stable.
We are prioritizing service calls in areas where commercial power and a stable network are available.
Each service call is receiving careful attention to ensure everything is restored correctly.
We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time as we all continue to recover from the hurricane.

Update: Despite being 90% operational, our primary concerns remain with commercial power and what we refer to as 'retunes.' Starting tomorrow, we will commence retunes and service calls for our customers. For account-specific information, please contact our office for detailed assistance. Small Update. We've made progress, approximately 90% of our towers are operational again, thanks to generators. One of our main towers, accessible only by Jon Boat, is now up and running. Today, we'll be east of 288. We appreciate your understanding and stay safe.
