Collection Update - Folks as you know we left our flags up through 9/11 and started collecting soon after. The process has been slow as we have been trying to dodge the rain for the last few days. Just so you know storing wet flags, even though fully weatherproof, causes mildew to grow and drying wet flags in a closed environment, especially a large number, is a big undertaking. It's much better to leave the flags fly till they are dry. The collection process should be wrapped up on your end by Sunday. Thank you for your patience. Rob

Reminder: Here at Phillip's Flags in addition to Labor Day we honor the victims and heroes of 9/11 by keeping our flags flying through Patriot Day(9/11). Flag collection will start on Tuesday evening.

Labor Day is just around the corner! It is a celebration of the American labor movement and is dedicated to the achievements of America’s workers, both economic and social.

Because Labor Day is a celebration, and not a day of mourning, it is a full-staff day, where the American flag flies proudly at the top of flagpoles throughout the country. You will also see many of them waved at Labor Day parades throughout the country where American workers will take to the streets to celebrate.
