Buildings in downtown Kansas City were lit in blue honoring the life of Independence police officer Cody Allen.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is looking for information in an apparent road-rage shooting that occurred yesterday morning in Liberty. It happened about 6:20 a.m. on southbound I-35 at 152 Highway. The suspect vehicle is a newer, black, Chevy four-door truck with LED headlights. The suspect fired shots into the victim's vehicle. Thankfully, the victim suffered only minor injuries. If you saw something or have information that could help solve the case, call MSHP at 816-622-0800 to speak with an investigator.
