Maple season 2k26 is in books. We made our average crop, but in 11 less boils than last year. Several record sap runs and many of the biggest nights ever in the sugarhouse. Plenty of long days and the typical struggles that you come to expect as a sugarmaker. A few more hours of sugarhouse cleaning and tap pulling and the ‘26 season will be a memory.

New rig is in place and the tapping crew finished up this afternoon. Richard and Damian from CDL came today finish the install and get the burner dialed in, a couple of really handy fellas! Not sure what the weather has in store for us but we’re ready. Sugaring 2k26 is off to the races.

Today we have a rare opportunity to own this unique metal cabinet. First come first serve. You’d probably better not wait around as it’s going to go fast. Perfect as an end table in your living room, a night stand beside your bed or a conversation piece in your recreational vehicle. The possibilities are limited by your imagination only. One of the more imaginative possibilities would be to stock it full of canned goods and other items you were hoping to keep mice away from and bring it down in your bunker. (Might be easier to bring down empty then fill it otherwise it might be very awkward on the stairs) I cleaned up the rust and hit it with a nice heavy coat of primer, unfortunately the colors don’t match, but it doesn’t take anything away from the functionality of this heirloom quality tin chest. It will be outside the shop if you want it. Don’t think about it, just come get it. If you want it holla, I’ll try to keep the others at bay while you’re on your way.

.m.whitney turns 16 tomorrow. I promised I’d get her a vehicle to drive that would be multipurpose and safe. She’s being a good sport about it but im not convinced she’s as excited as I had hoped.

Well she didn’t get the hours I thought she would and I want to invest elsewhere so the D3C is on the chopping block. Unknown actual hours as meter hasn’t moved off 3500 ish. Good bottom, fairly tight and clean dozer. Everything works as it should. $17,000. Spread the word and come buy it today. Thanks.

Like new Deere VR84C standard flow skid steer roller. I would estimate we have used it less than 10 hours. Works amazingly, it’s just not well suited to the type of work we do. Hate to see it sit. $15000 Would consider trading towards a box screener for a 2-3 yard loader.
