Our team has been busy with feasibility studies, infrastructure upgrades, engineering work, and underground development. There's a lot happening behind the scenes as we prepare for first production in late 2028.

Did you know? The Sunshine's drillhole database includes an incredible 3,618 holes totaling over 1.1 million feet of rock core!

That's 211 miles of core: if you lined it up, it would stretch from Kellogg to Spokane, back to Kellogg, and then to Spokane one more time!

Today, we're combining that historical geological record with modern drilling, digitizing it into detailed records, and using 3D modeling to build a clearer picture of the mine's vein system and guide our exploration work.

142 years ago today, two Maine farm boys changed everything.

On September 25, 1884, Dennis and True Blake discovered a promising rock outcrop that would become the richest silver mine in U.S. history. From their first 20-ton shipment in 1887 to 360+ million ounces of silver produced, the Sunshine became the heartbeat of the Silver Valley.

Through boom and bust, innovation and tragedy, triumph and perseverance, this mine has employed generations of our families and put our region on the map. It's been the foundation of our community for nearly a century and a half.

Today, as we advance toward another chapter of production, we're not just honoring that history - we're extending it. Some stories span generations. Some legacies define industries.

This is the next chapter of ours.

• Hoistman - Responsible for the operation of the mine hoist for the purpose of safely moving personnel, supplies, equipment, and muck in the mine shaft.

• Mechanic - Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks on a variety of mobile and fixed plant equipment

• Mine Engineer - Assist in providing technical input related to underground mine engineering, including mine design, scheduling, dewatering, and ventilation planning.

• Geologist I - Support underground mining operations through geological interpretation, data collection, 3D modeling, and collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

• Health & Safety Specialist - Responsible for supporting and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment within a mining operation

• Financial Reporting Accountant - Responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements and supporting disclosures.

• Dry Attendant - Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary surface environment, which includes all dry areas, restrooms, showers, lamp room, halls, offices, lunchrooms, and removal and disposal of trash.
