Its A Foodie Thang Why do we eat the things we do? Is it really choice or a subconscious cultural brainwash? I'm just a food Blogger trying to figure it out!

Its a Foodie Thang is not your typical recipe blog. Although I have some highlighted recipes, food is so much more than just recipes. I wanted to take a deeper look and uncover all it's little dark yet wonderful secrets. I am also open to what YOU want to hear, so if you ever have any ideas you would like me to write about shoot them my way! There is also a feature section maintained by the one and only Teresa Tirado, my chef role model.

Tried Flying Biscuit Cafe - Brier Creek today. I'll give it a 7/10. Creamy grits and biscuits were the 💣, but I wasn't a fan of the French toast. I had a taste for something specific and they didn't have it. I think that had a lot to do with it, but the rest was good. I like the place and the service was great, so I would definitely go back and try something else.

3 pumps of caramel (sauce not the syrup), 2 pumps of cookie dough, 1 pump of butter pecan and whip with caramel drizzle, and mix that whip in the drink... Thank me later!
