Hard to believe that FORTY (40) YEARS ago today, I opened my doors. I had been told by many that I would not succeed at playing "Dick Tracey," or make it in a man's world. In the academy, I was told I should be home making babies. On my 16th birthday, my friends threw a surprise party for me & we talked about our futures & success. I remember saying, "If I can make a difference in at least one person's life, I'll be successful. I'm beyond thrilled that in over 3,000 investigations with a 98% success rate, I'm still making a difference. I hope the Lord will give me many more chances to do that. I've had some of THE most bizarre & interesting cases & met some very interesting people along the way who have become not just friends, but family. I'm glad I didn't become the attorney that my father always wanted me to be.
