Support local youth at the Market Stock Auction!

Join us Friday, August 28 at 9 a.m. in the Sale Barn as local youth bring their market projects through the auction ring.

Last year’s auction was record-breaking, generating more than $1.5 million for local youth and becoming the largest-grossing youth livestock auction in Washington! Funds earned through the sale help exhibitors invest in future projects and often support their college goals.

The Rabbit & Feather Auction will follow immediately after.

Plant the seed. There is so much disconnection when it comes to Farm to Table. I recently saw a post where a comedian was harvesting pizza from vines as a bit of humor.
Is this what our kids think?
Do they really know what goes into putting food on the table?
So I'll say it again...plant the seed. Make it a fun summer project! It can be a veggies, fruit or even a flower! It's a great opportunity to show the next generation what it takes to grow just one plant and hopefully instill some appreciation for our farmers.
You dont need a farm or land to grow either! Strawberries, carrots, and lettuce are just a few thing that can grow in a pot and consume very little space. 🪴 🌱 🍓
