This year has been a whirlwind — in the best way......mostly. I sold a business that I poured my heart into, took my youngest to college, and stepped into an incredible new role that challenges and inspires me in all the right ways.

My husband built me a beautiful garden, I bought a convertible, traveled to new places, spent time with family, and ate so much good food. Somewhere in between, I went through a rough stretch with my health that tested my strength and patience — but coming out the other side made me even more grateful for everyone around me.

I’m still running my photography, styling, and coaching businesses — the work that lights me up and allows me to connect, create, and empower others — with new things on the horizon that have me very excited!

All this change, to be honest, has rocked my confidence a bit — but it’s also rebuilt me in the most beautiful ways. It’s reminded me of what I’m capable of, what truly matters, and how strength doesn’t always look like having it all together — sometimes it’s just showing up, being authentic and taking it one day at a time.

**Trust Yourself—Even When Others Don’t Understand**

Entrepreneurship is a wild, exhilarating, and sometimes lonely road. It demands that you trust yourself—your instincts, your vision, your ability to see opportunities where others see obstacles. But the truth is, when you fully trust yourself, you will often be misunderstood.

People might question your decisions. They might not grasp why you’re taking a certain risk, pivoting in an unexpected direction, or holding firm on something that feels non-negotiable to you. And that’s okay. They don’t have to understand—because they don’t see what you see.

The best ideas, the most game-changing businesses, and the most deeply fulfilling careers are built by those willing to trust their own inner knowing, even in the face of doubt.

So when you find yourself explaining your vision to someone who doesn’t get it, remember: You’re not building for their approval. You’re building because you believe in what you’re creating.

Trust yourself. Trust the process. And keep going. The right people will come along side you and support you, even when they don't understand.

I know many people hate the concept of the "New Year," but I love it! For me, it feels like turning a page—or honestly, after this year, more like turning a boulder shaped like a page. But either way, it is a great time for a reassessment and if needed recalibration.

You don’t need a “new you”—you are perfectly designed to live the life you’re meant to. Instead of resolutions, I like to create a "Less Of, More Of" list to guide my intentions for the new year.
