Occasionally we get the opportunity to provide Greta with some carcasses that we know to be safe (no chance of rodenticide/lead/poison). She’s picked apart a beaver and rabbit skull before, so when we were presented with the opportunity to provide her a sheep skull, we were all excited! Except for Greta, who wanted to know why on earth we brought this thing into her house. The stomping behavior she’s doing here, I call the “no thank you” stomp, as she only does it when she’s uncomfortable with something.
It took her some time, but eventually, she figured out it was just a skull and cleaned it all up.
