Are you a student entrepreneur? Apply to attend the Rice Business Plan Competition, the largest and richest Intercollegiate Graduate Startup Competition in the nation. The Brinzo Center is hosting a group of students to attend the competition as well as visiting with tech startups in Austin, Texas on May 11-16.

This trip is designed for upperclassmen (Junior/Senior/Graduate Level) students who are currently an entrepreneur or have a strong interest in starting a business in the future. This is an all-expenses paid opportunity for Kent State students. Please also note that this trip takes place over Kent’s Graduation Weekend.

Today the Kent Chapter of the Northeast Ohio Student Venture Fund met for our fall semester Investment Meeting.

An awesome morning spent with chapters across NEO deciding on another funding round of investment to local to entrepreneurs.

We welcomed John and Marlene Brinzo on campus, for whom the center is named, along with students and faculty to commemorate the name change - "The John S. and Marlene J. Brinzo Center for Entrepreneurship."

This past weekend, The Brinzo Center team headed to Las Vegas for the GCEC annual conference.

It was a weekend full of connecting with other entrepreneurship centers internationally, and bringing some insightful ideas of on how to enhance and expand The Brinzo Center back to Kent 💡featuring a few amazing views of the Las Vegas strip!
