Qi is the vital force in the body. Stimulating specific acupressure points removes energy blockages and helps maintain the free flow of qi. Energy work helps reduce pain & inflammation, encourages relaxation, and facilities body harmony. This was Gabby’s first bodywork session and based on her human’s input, I focused on hindquarter points, digestion points, TMJ points, and points that support seniors. Gabby expressed her appreciation with many healing releases and it was rewarding to see her let go of tension, become soft and relaxed, and greatly benefit from her session. She is blessed to have an owner who is willing to help her feel her best! Thank you, Kristen, for being a loving guardian and advocate for your horse’s well-being.

It’s interesting that horses are these incredibly sensitive creatures (physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually)…⁣

And yet, the industry as a whole is brutal ⛓️⁣

The culture of intensity that’s been developed around horses can make sensitive people feel as though there’s no room for them here.⁣

Like they don’t belong.⁣

The lore of “asserting dominance” and being a “strong leader” (by using excessive pressure and punishment) alienates the people who are 📢 perhaps the MOST equipped to connect with horses…📢⁣

Because of their sensitivity, and willingness to attune to the horse’s voice and needs ♥️⁣
⁣
It’s tragic to think how many people hide or walk away, because they can’t take it anymore.⁣
⁣
The abuse. The overly-critical peers. The cult-like belief systems around being “dominant.”⁣
⁣
But the movement is growing…⁣
⁣
Ethical, science-based, compassionate training is spreading like wildfire, with this message:⁣

This is what you call a Two-for-One Acupressure session! A twofer❣️  I was working on Cisco when Sol came over to immerse herself in the energy. ✨ Before I knew it, both horses were sleeping. “Acutrances”are the best nod of approval‼️ 🤍🤎 Promoting health naturally, one touch at a time!

Nevada is not a highly affectionate horse, but she LOVES her acupressure. There are many ways to support your horses’ health and well-being. Energy Medicine is a practice I love utilizing. I like to call sessions like this Pasture Acupressure. 💖 🐴

Healthy releases/responses include closed eyes, relaxed lips, big sighs, licking and chewing, quiet contentment. A receptive horse can experience pain relief, reduced stress/anxiety, improved energy levels, increased body harmony and much more!

Merida received ALL the feels from her acupressure session today. She was entirely and enthusiastically receptive to all the benefits this ancient art provides. She is a different horse than when I first met her & offered her a bodywork session. This is a testament to her loving/trying/thriving spirit (she is a rescue) and her wonderful person (owner)❣️ Thank you, Charity, for deeply caring about Merida’s well being. I loved the engaging, sweet nudges of appreciation she gave me throughout our session. 💗

Qi is the vital force in the body. Acupressure points are specific areas on the body that have a direct effect on the flow of qi. Stimulating these acupressure points removes energy blockages and helps maintain the free flow of qi throughout the body. Callie, a beautiful mustang, who struggles with tension and anxiety expressed her need for more body balance with many sighs, yawns, head shakes, and licking/chewing. It was wonderful to see her release tension, become more relaxed, and gain the rewards of her session. She is a very lucky mustang to have found an owner who is doing all she can to help her find trust and harmony within her environment and within herself. Thank you, Maggie, for everything you are doing for Callie!
You are the hero she deserves. And I’m
happy to be a part of her healing and growth.
