The half-tower option on the Blazer Bay 2440 allows for a raised second station to be built into the top, giving you a raised view over the water as you ride the waves. There are several benefits to a half tower with a second station, including:

Better visibility: The raised viewpoint makes spotting schools of fish, bait pods, and water surface disturbances much clearer
Easier navigation: Avoid shallow sandbars and hidden underwater obstacles by getting a clear sightline of them well before you approach
Comfortable ride: Not only is the raised bench a comfortable place to sit, rest, and lean, but the addition of a personal storage compartment and two cupholders makes driving from the tower much more enjoyable.
Improved Casting: With a better view of the fish around you, your casts can be much more accurate

One of the most important things to consider when picking out a bay boat is the layout. You need something that has the right balance of storage, seating, and casting space to ensure that your fishing trip is smooth sailing. The 2400 Purebay has a perfect balance of these three features:

STORAGE: The Purebay 2400 has two rod lockers, three multipurpose storage compartments, an insulated cooler, an anchor box, and two livewells.

SEATING: Not only is there the double bolster seating at the console, but there is also a livewell seat located at the front of the console. Additionally, there are two rear jump seats.

CASTING SPACE: The bow of the Purebay 2400 has a step-up design that makes it easy to walk from the center console to the nose of the boat for fishing. The aft deck is also raised, providing a stable casting platform at each end of the boat.

When out on the water beating the summer heat, you need sun protection beyond some spray-on 50 SPF. Getting a hard top on your bay boat can provide some well-needed shade, especially for the captain and first mate. Not only that, but a hard top can also provide light as you're docking at dawn and dusk through the use of T-top lights and liven up the day with your summer playlist through the built-in speakers.

The Blazer Bay 2400 is infinitely customizable including the center console and lean post. Here, we're showing off the incredible storage capacity of two different options: the livewell seat with backrest and deluxe baitwell lean post option.

The livewell seat offers storage on storage on storage. Not only does the base of the seat flip up to access your livewell, but the back of the seat also opens up to access additional tackle storage.

As for the deluxe lean post, there is even more storage crammed into every square inch of its design. Facing the bow, we have double bolster seating with flip-out footrests and armrests. Then on the back, you have the deluxe baitwell and two additional drawers at the bottom for storage. That's not even mentioning the additional storage compartments to either side of the baitwell.
