Join us for our November Chamber Luncheon as we welcome Dr. Brittany Snyder, Interim President of The College of the Florida Keys, presenting “Past to Possibility: Progress and Purpose in the Upper Keys.”

With more than 23 years of leadership at CFK, Dr. Snyder has played an integral role in advancing the College’s academic and operational mission. Her presentation will explore the evolution of the Upper Keys through the lens of community growth, business development, and educational stewardship.

From the history and defining milestones of CFK’s Upper Keys Centers to the challenges and opportunities facing our community today, Dr. Snyder will also share a vision for sustainable growth, long-term resilience, and the important role collaboration and leadership play in shaping the future of the Upper Keys.

We look forward to an informative conversation about where we’ve been, where we are today, and the possibilities ahead for our community.

This luncheon will take place on November 4 at 11:45AM inside the Cultural Center at Ocean Reef.

Yesterday, the Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce was proud to participate in the Yael Skinner Health Fair alongside dozens of businesses and organizations that serve our community in so many ways.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with ORCA employees, share resources, and highlight the services available in our community. Thank you to ORCA for bringing everyone together and to everyone who stopped by to visit us!

A sold-out start to the 2026–2027 season!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for today’s Ocean Reef Chamber luncheon.

State Representative Jim Mooney kicked off the season with a legislative update, and we welcomed 13 new Chamber members! We also held our first door raffle, with our Suzi Younberg taking home one of our brand-new Chamber tumblers.

Thank you to our members and guests who continue to show up, connect, and make these luncheons a success.

A special thank you to Pawsitive Beginnings Inc for serving as a sponsor of our October Ocean Reef Chamber luncheon!

Pawsitive Beginnings is a Key Largo nonprofit fox sanctuary providing lifelong care to foxes rescued from the fur and exotic pet trades. Beyond sanctuary, the organization uses the stories of its rescued foxes to support education, advocacy and animal-assisted healing programs serving individuals throughout the Florida Keys.

The Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce was honored to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the new boardwalk at the Florida Keys Wild Bird Center this morning.

One of the things we value most is showing up for our Chamber members and supporting the important work they are doing throughout our community.

It was wonderful to see so many community leaders and public officials in attendance, along with members of the Monroe County Tourist Development Council, whose tourism funding is helping make this much-needed renovation possible. TDC capital grants reinvest visitor-generated bed tax dollars into projects that benefit both our residents and visitors.

Congratulations to the entire Florida Keys Wild Bird Center team on an exciting step forward. We are proud to have you as part of our Chamber community!

Today, members of the Ocean Reef community came together to remember.

On the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we gathered to honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the extraordinary bravery and sacrifice of the First Responders who answered the call that day.

Thank you to ORCA’s Public Safety Department and Fire-Rescue Division for bringing our community together for this meaningful remembrance.

Twenty-five years later, we remember. We honor. We will never forget.
