Built on the expertise of 1,330+ scientists from more than 100 countries, the Ocean Travellers Report brings together decades of research to identify:
• reproductive sites
• migratory corridors
• feeding areas
• aggregation hotspots

Sharks and rays are the second most threatened group of vertebrates on Earth, with more than one third of species at risk of extinction

This science is a powerful tool for action. By showing where sharks and rays are most vulnerable — and most valuable — it gives governments, conservationists and ocean managers a clearer roadmap to protect them.

The report was produced by the IUCN Species Survival Commission Shark Specialist Group with support from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment and the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals.
