A sheriff sets the culture.
A sheriff controls hiring.
A sheriff is responsible for the jail.
A sheriff answers for the conduct of the office.

When 30 people connected to one administration end up charged — many pleading guilty — the problem is not coincidence.

The problem is who was in charge.

Walker County Deserves Better

You don’t reward failure.
You don’t excuse chaos.
You don’t “wait and see” after this level of damage.

You change leadership.

This is about public trust, public safety, and basic competence.

Walker County should never again be nationally embarrassed by its Sheriff’s Office.
That starts by not re-electing the administration that produced this mess.
