Nurses Who Inspire
Patty is the definition of a dedicated nurse. With 34 years of nursing experience and a lifelong commitment to caring for others, she has built a career marked by compassion, leadership, adaptability, and service.
Her nursing journey began in 1992 after achieving a dream she had carried for many years. While working full-time in Civil Service and raising a family, Patty completed Lincoln University’s satellite nursing program, often balancing long workdays, clinicals, and evening classes with very little sleep. Her determination and perseverance laid the foundation for an exceptional nursing career.
Over the years, Patty has served in home health, hospice, long-term care, rehabilitation, progressive care, telemetry, and emergency observation settings. She spent five years as a hospice nurse and co-coordinator, followed by five years as Director of Homemaker Plus. After moving to Branson in 2003, she worked at Cox South, the Transitional Care Unit, Acute Rehabilitation Unit, and Step-Down Unit. She also completed multiple travel nursing assignments and later worked on medical-surgical telemetry at Cass Regional Medical Center before returning to Branson and joining the Clinical Decision Unit in 2024.
Throughout every role, Patty has remained focused on what first inspired her to become a nurse: helping people. Her decades of experience, steady leadership, clinical expertise, and genuine compassion have made a lasting difference in the lives of countless patients, families, and colleagues. Simply put, Patty represents the very best of nursing.
I am proud to work alongside Patty, grateful to know her, and honored to call her my friend. Her professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment to patient care make her a nurse that others respect, trust, and admire.
