Did anyone in Greenville, South Carolina lose a fid on Bear Drive? I was walking yesterday and there was one right in the middle of the sidewalk. I haven't done any glass work in over a year - maybe it is an omen.

This is a student's candle shelter with a lit candle. I can't get it to load upright, so tilt your head to look at it. The top is to the right. :)

Done! The glue popped off easily when I started working on it, so I was able to solder it back together.

I forgot to take a "before" picture of this one. A lot of the narrow green pieces in the border were broken. I replaced them and a couple of the red ones, too.

This one is done. They said that there was too much clear in it and they would like some color. I happened to have piece of cranberry glass that they don't make now and would be very expensive if they did make it. I decided it was too small to keep hanging on to, so I used it where the center pieces were broken. I hope they like it.

It's not done, yet, but it IS leaded up. And all my tools are scattered around and over it.
