Our Senior Portrait Pop-Up with ShadowCatcher Photography and Janelle M. Photography is happening Sunday, October 25!

For just $75, seniors will receive a quick 15-minute portrait session with 5 poses and 3 professionally edited digital images delivered within 48 hours. Perfect if you still need senior portraits, want a few updated images, or simply don’t need a full senior session.

Appointments are limited, and we’re booking in 15-minute time slots from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM.

If we had a dollar for every time someone has said “I’m not photogenic” to us over the last 21+ years…

Here’s the thing: You don’t have to know how to pose. You don’t have to know what to do with your hands. You don’t have to lose weight first, wait until you feel more confident, or somehow become “good” at having your picture taken.

That’s OUR job.

Our job is to help you relax, guide you when you need it, make you laugh when we can, and create photographs that actually feel like YOU.

So please—get in the picture.

Someday, you and the people who love you will be very glad you did.

Lori may not be the fine art or architectural photographer at ShadowCatcher Photography, but sometimes a view makes her stop and take the photo anyway!

Between the moon above, the glowing windows, and the Luzerne County Courthouse peeking out at the corner, this was one of those moments. A little reminder to look around—there’s beauty in the places we pass every day.

Not every photograph needs a person in it to tell a story.

Sometimes it’s an old building. A forgotten object. A landscape. An interesting texture. A detail most people would walk right past.

Fine art photography has always been another side of ShadowCatcher Photography—and Michael has an incredible eye for seeing something worth photographing in places you might never expect.

After 21+ years, we still believe photography isn’t only about documenting what something looks like.

Sometimes it’s about showing you something you may not have noticed at all.

The cards are on the table, and the photos are in! NEPA Pride Project’s () Casino Gayale gallery is ready to view (link is in the 1st comment).

A winning hand of thanks to Samantha Ward Photography () for covering the Gayla while Lori is still recuperating. When we reached out to our fellow photographers for help, Samantha came through—a reminder that a strong photography community is the best hand you can be dealt.

Lori was sad to miss the fun, but she loved editing the entire gallery and seeing the night come to life.

Still need senior portraits? We’ve got a day for you!

ShadowCatcher Photography and Janelle M. Photography are teaming up for a Senior Portrait Pop-Up on Sunday, October 25, from 11 AM to 3 PM at 67–69 Public Square in Wilkes-Barre.

Each 15-minute session is $75 plus tax and includes three edited digital images, delivered through an online gallery within 48 hours. It’s a quick option for seniors who don’t need a full portrait session.

Our 21st anniversary wedding flash sale was quite popular! We received a few calls after the offer ended, so we’ve decided to open a couple more spots for today, September 26.

Our Endless Love wedding photography package is $1,800 today—regularly $2,995. So, What Does ShadowCatcher Photography do?

After 21 years behind the camera together, Michael and Lori have developed a pretty simple division of labor at ShadowCatcher Photography.

Michael photographs the inanimate objects that don't talk back. Fine art. Landscapes. Architecture. Animals. Basically, if it can't tell him, “That's not my good side,” Michael is happy.

Lori? Lori photographs the people.

Weddings, families, seniors, portraits, headshots, events—and all the personalities, laughter, chaos, and stories that come along with them.

Somehow, it works.

Two photographers. Two very different ways of looking through a lens. And after 21 years, we wouldn't have it any other way.
