We are incredibly thankful to Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory for entrusting us with their authentic late 1800s horse-drawn hearse for Equine Affaire in Columbus, Ohio. As one of the nation’s premier equestrian events, it was an honor to have this historic piece on display for tens of thousands to experience, and to feature it in all three nights of Fantasia—A Musical Celebration of the Horse.
This hearse is far more than a beautiful antique—it represents tradition, dignity, and a meaningful way to honor life. We are proud to partner with Ducro Funeral Services in carrying that tradition forward, offering families a final ride home that is both peaceful and deeply personal. Time and time again, we see how the presence of horses brings comfort in moments when words often fall short.
To be able to share this experience on such a large stage, while representing our hometown, is something we do not take lightly. It is a privilege, and one we hold with the utmost respect.
