A Small Still Voice LLC- Bill Johnson Chief of Police, Retired The successful journey is one that leads to personal motivation. Let us assist you with discovering the empowering voice of change living within you.

My last 5 years of a nearly 30 year career in public service were spent as the Director of Public Safety. In my role as Chief of Police, I was deeply troubled by the number of handcuffed young people who chose destruction over triumph. While this demographic is the subject of much discussion and many programs, not enough is being done to take a one-on-one approach that shows the pathway out and th

e steps it takes to change their lives. My mission is to love them enough to visualize the present and reveal a very possible future based upon the most powerful of motivations, their own.

I got up with the intention to count all of God's Blessings today. In less than 10 minutes, I gave up. I couldn't keep up.

The enemy is still as active as ever. He specializes in attacking us when we least expect it, and then blames God. Church security is still a priority.

Christians do not have a lock on eternal life as some may think. Everyone will have eternal life. Christians have just made a much better choice of where they will spend it.

Good morning. The following is from 'The Word For You Today' regarding choosing a leader:

Look out for the "we-alone-are-right" attitude. When someone can't acknowledge and fellowship with other members of God's redeemed family, something's wrong.

Look out for those who teach that you must only sow into their field, and nowhere else.

Beware of the untouchable, "I-am-God's-anointed" types. No matter how gifted we are, we all have blind spots and need to be confronted and counseled from time to time.

I have to say that satan and his followers are the best example of the adage 'Misery loves company' that I have ever seen. He and his demons know they're headed to the Pit and their only comfort is seeing how many they can persuade to go burn with them.

Pardon my grammar, but this ain't gone be no disco inferno like he portrays it to be.

We are grateful for last night's opportunity to share our church security workshop with Live Oak FWB church in Grifton, NC. The event was truly blessed. We thank the pastor and congregation for their serious consideration of the safety of God's House; as they have already begun to initiate several additional measures.

As we prepare to bring our church security program to Live Oak FWB Church this coming week, we must remember and remind ourselves. Regardless of the many trials and tribulations the modern church is facing today, church security is still a ministry.

As such, even as we go about our duties, we must be mindful to never allow the enemy to dictate our thoughts or our actions.

Thank you, Lincoln Park Holiness Church and Pastor William Eli Ratcliff for an opportunity to speak to your youth on Sunday, November 13. What an impressive group of young people who have achieved and continue to achieve outstanding academic success.

We thoroughly enjoyed your hospitality and being able to share the Word with them that will sustain them through wonderful journeys to come.
