Update from EJ Livestock! 🐑
We wrapped up lambing on January 15th, and we’re thrilled with this year’s group! Our ewe lambs and ram/wether lambs are growing great and showing lots of promise.

This set is sired by Fonzie and Houdini Jr. — with Houdini Jr. being a ram we added from Miller Farms (SD) last spring. He had a strong debut in the show ring, being named Champion Crossbred Ram and going on to earn Reserve Supreme Overall Ram at the North Dakota State Fair!

Big Improvements at EJ Livestock! 🐑

As our sheep operation continues to grow, we knew it was time to make some upgrades. Just a couple of months ago, our setup included old wooden corrals, a basic working alley, and some well-used holding pens.

Fast forward to today — we’ve completely revamped the working alley, sorting alley, and holding pens. This weekend marked the first time we put the new system to the test while working sheep, and it exceeded our expectations!

Efficiency, safety, and flow have all improved dramatically — and we’re excited about what this means for the future of EJ Livestock.

As the North Dakota show season comes to a close, we’re thrilled to share highlights from this year's county fairs and the North Dakota State Fair in Minot. Our sheep performed admirably in 4‑H and FFA classes, with exhibitors demonstrating outstanding dedication to presentation and care.

Thank you to all our customers who supported our first-ever lamb sale—your trust in our operation means the world. We truly appreciate you taking a chance on us, and we look forward to growing alongside you in the years to come.

We are so proud of how everyone represented our flock this year. Moving forward, we are committed to breeding even bigger, stronger, and higher-quality lambs to meet your needs.
