Who’s thought of seeing a hypnotherapist but haven’t? Hear what our hypnotherapist Susan Fields has to say

“I’m Susan Field a hypnotherapist, and I help people release the weight of trauma without reliving it. Whether it’s a single life-changing event—like losing a best friend in a tragic accident—or years in a profession built around trauma, like the military, police, or first responders, you don’t have to keep carrying that baggage. Hypnotherapy is a gentle, kind process where we can honor your experiences without reopening old wounds, and even address inherited or environmental trauma passed down for generations.

I’ve seen incredible breakthroughs—from a mother whose baby wouldn’t come because the world seemed too scary after 9/11, to a man in a wheelchair for decades who walked again after resolving emotional pain he didn’t know he was carrying. Your mind and body are deeply connected, and when you shift what you hold inside, you can change how you live outside. Hypnotherapy gives you the choice: what do you want to keep, and what are you ready to let go of?”

Who’s got a bee problem?! Best in the area

Hi, I’m Jimmy Long with Snohomish Pest Control.

Summer is wasp season—and yes, there are different types causing problems at different times. The small paper wasps you see under eaves are medium-aggressive and usually easy to treat. But right now, yellowjackets and bald-faced hornets are the real threat.

Yellowjackets show up mid-July and love to hide in crawl spaces, soffits, or siding cracks. They’re super aggressive and will chase you. Bald-faced hornets? Even worse. Black and white with a football-shaped body, they’re territorial, have scouts, and will swarm if threatened.

We treat all types—whether it’s a visible paper nest or an underground hive. For ground nests, we apply a treatment that works over 3 days, and we offer affordable follow-ups to remove large nests.

We don’t harm honeybees or mud daubers—they’re pollinators and spider hunters—but we will treat carpenter bees if they’re damaging your siding.

If you see wasp traffic around your home—don’t wait. Call Snohomish Pest Control before you get stung!”

Today’s speaker was Farmers Insurance - David Whittlesey! See what he had to say today

Hi, I’m David Whittlesey with Farmers Insurance.

The home insurance market has changed drastically in the last few years—mostly due to legislative decisions, credit rating freezes, inflation, and rising claims post-COVID. You may have noticed your premiums jumped 20 to 60%—it wasn’t just your company; it was every company in Washington.

Why? A former insurance commissioner pushed a rule that froze credit scoring, which took nearly 3 years to fully impact rates. During that same time, rising construction costs, wildfire risks, and supply shortages hit hard. But there’s hope—we’re now seeing some relief. Farmers, for example, just took a 5% rate decrease, which could feel more like 7–10% depending on your situation.

Here’s what you should know:
• Not all policies cover wildfire-prone homes anymore.
• Water damage? If it’s from outside the home—many carriers won’t cover it.
• Detached garages? Not automatically included.
• Personal liability and loss-of-use coverage? Some carriers are quietly cutting back.

Make sure your home is really protected. Even if it’s not with me, double-check your coverage and ask the right questions.

I’m David Whittlesey with Farmers—let’s make sure you’re truly covered.

Who’s looking for a great Financial Advisor? I wanted to introduce Luke at Equitable Advisors Pacific Northwest. Message me for more info!

Hi, I’m Luke Pearce with Equitable Advisors. I help people make smart decisions with their money—whether that’s growing it, protecting it, or planning for retirement. We focus on three key areas: asset management, building long-term wealth, and making sure you’re financially protected.

Think of stocks as ownership and bonds as lending—both have a place, and we build a balanced, personalized portfolio based on your goals and risk tolerance.

Our process is simple: it starts with a discovery meeting to learn what’s important to you, followed by a strategy session tailored to your specific situation. There’s no cost for those initial meetings, and if we end up working together, we charge a competitive, transparent fee.

We’re fiduciaries, so we put your interests first—and I personally stay in touch with my clients regularly to make sure their plan still fits. If you’re looking for advice you can trust, I’d love to talk.”
