Was able to place the center piece directly over the pullbox so the cables aren’t even seen or exposed. Also placed the monitors…

Lake County Captains are getting ready for the Season Opener this Thursday. I was apart of it, doing some network upgrades and wireless improvements for the players and coaches. Added new wifi for both locker rooms, clubhouse, broadcast booths and batting cages. The next phase is improvement for the fans’ wireless connections! It’s all scoped out, I’m just waiting for the green light! Structured Cabling & Wiring

Gotta love getting a call from the customer that there’s a problem with the network cabling and the IT Guy says the same thing…. Get there and my cables are good. He ran the patch cords to the wrong patch panel ports… and does not have other stuff patched in for the customer to be up and running tomorrow morning.… Good thing I’m customer oriented and went ahead and hooked him up for the morning. Now, the big question… who’s paying me for a Sunday call out that had nothing to do with my work?!?!? Lol

Cables are dressed in now... still need tested but I have confidence in my work!

So I’m the only guy working on this new construction site. No one else is there. No electricians, No GC, No Customer Contact. The Spectrum guy shows up to do the site survey for installing service next week...
Good thing I’m there, cuz he didn’t call anyone about showing up. So he has access to the building. He starts asking questions, and because I pay attention to things, I can answer them.
Told him where in the building it needs to go. Showed him where the conduits into the building hit the outside. Told him how the driveway is going to be expanded to help with the semi truck access so he can’t run things the way he was thinking. Verified the installation dates I had heard and even gave him my business card as a Can Be Reached LCON….
Gave up about a hour of my production time to make sure this install gets done right and on time…
As usual, I went above and beyond what my responsibilities are on this job site. Why? Because I care and want it done right for my customer. May be a old-school work model approach, but it’s how I operate my business. Never afraid to go above and beyond or limit myself to the scope of work if my customer needs more.
100% customer satisfaction is always my goal!
