We are Liz and Mark team couple, parents to four boys living in Kissimmee, Florida. Like many working parents, we know what it's like to work hard, pay bills, take care of family responsibilities, and still wonder where all the savings go. When I moved to America to be with my husband, I had hopes of building a better future together. I had left behind a good Wealth Banking career in Bahrain, and I believed that with hard work, things would eventually fall into place. I started working in healthcare, taking extra shifts, working weekends, and putting in overtime. Yet somehow, the bills kept coming, our financial responsibilities continued growing, and we had no savings to fall back on. And that frightened me, as I wondered how I would provide help to my parents and my sons who were still in university. Living my sons behind and my parents was overwhelming. Imagine being a mother living thousands of miles away from your children and your parents knowing that if something happened tomorrow, you don't have enough funds saved to buy a plane ticket to be with them. That was my reality, it wasn't just about wanting a holiday or having more time off. It was about being able to show up for my family when they needed me. Those questions weighed heavily on my heart. Every phone I picked was with tension and fear of something might have happened. In many ways I trusted in God and continued praying for better days. And the more overtime I worked to improve our finances, the less time I had for my husband, myself, and the people I was working so hard to support. I remember thinking, "Surely, there must be another way to build something for our future." I prayed about it. I had tried exploring other businesses before, but without the right guidance, I often found myself frustrated trying to figure out alone with no success. Then, in 2024, I came across a digital business model. Absolutely! I had no experience in digital marketing, and I remember asking my husband, "Will you help me? I don't even know how all this digital stuff works!"
But something caught my attention. There was structured training, mentorship, digital tools, and a community of people learning and growing together. Could start with the experience I had acquired in life. Didn't need to be tech savvy
No inventory or shipping. I could begin learning alongside my existing responsibilities. I didn't need long hours. For the first time in a long while, I felt encouraged to explore something different. So, I made a decision to learn. Not because I had all the answers, but because I wanted to understand whether this could be another way to build toward our family goals. Was it easy? No. There were new skills to learn, doubts to overcome, and plenty of lessons along the way. Eventually, my husband joined me. Today, we're building together, continuing to grow, and helping fellow working parents understand how they too can explore building an online business with training, tools, and mentorship. "Our WHY has never been about chasing a luxurious lifestyle. ๐๐
It's about family. It's about having more options when life happens. It's about working toward a future where visiting our children and loved ones doesn't feel so far out of reach. And if there's one thing we've learned, it's that, a decision alone doesn't change everything. What we choose to do afterward matters.
