Mark still works full-time, but retirement is getting closer.

🤔🤔Mark and I Don't Always Agree. But We Agree on Why We Started.

Working with your husband will teach you very quickly that being married does not mean you work the same way. 😂😂

I might be ready to move forward while Mark is still studying the screen, asking questions and making sure everything makes sense.

And yes… sometimes I’m thinking, “Mark, can we just do it?” 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

But I’ve learned that being different doesn’t mean you are difficult.

We’ve had to understand each other’s strengths, divide responsibilities and decide who handles what—because every little business decision does NOT need to become a household meeting. 😅😅

At the end of the day, our working styles may be different, but our WHY is the same: more options for our family, more time for the people we love, and something meaningful we can build together and leave behind. ❤️❤️

That shared purpose matters more than doing everything the same way.

I was doing everything “right”—

– Working long hours
– Giving up weekends
– Missing family dinners

Still, the bills kept coming—and the guilt hit harder than anything else. 💔💔

😮‍💨😮‍💨I Used to Wear Exhaustion like Proof that I was Doing Enough.

Maybe you know that feeling too.🤔🤔

You finish a long day, look at everything you managed to get done and think, “Well… at least I was productive.”

But sometimes we’re so busy keeping up with what has to be done that the things we actually want to build, learn or change keep getting pushed to “someday.”🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

And someday has a funny way of staying on the calendar. 😅

One thing we’ve learned is that working harder and creating better options are not always the same thing.

It doesn’t necessarily take hours every day, either.

Sometimes it starts with protecting a few small pockets of time each week —
🎯Time for family,
🎯Time to rest.
🎯Even time to learn something that could open another door.

Three focused sessions in a week may not sound like much.

But three becomes six.
Six becomes twelve.

And suddenly, you’re no longer just thinking about that goal. You’re consistently giving it time. ✨✨

So maybe the goal this week isn’t to squeeze MORE into an already full life.

Maybe it’s to become more intentional with the time we already have.

Florence in ONE day? Challenge accepted! 🇮🇹😂

Our schedule was already packed, but Florence was too close to miss! So we jumped on the fast Italo train 🚄 and off we went.

My lifelong friend—since we were girls—picked us up and became our tour guide for the day. ❤️

Florence gave us everything… including HEAT that nearly finished the tour early! 🥵😂

📍 Piazza del Duomo — home to the magnificent Florence Cathedral and the Baptistery’s famous golden Gates of Paradise.

✨ Ponte Vecchio — the historic bridge lined with gold and jewellery shops. No wonder it feels like walking down a golden street!

🌅 Piazzale Michelangelo — breathtaking views across Florence, followed by La Loggia for lunch , perfectly positioned to enjoy the changing evening light over the city.

One day. A lot of walking. Too much heat. 😂
But Florence? Absolutely worth it. 🇮🇹❤️
