This past Friday, NeoCity played host to a VIP delegation from South Korea attending the US-Korea (UKC) 2026 conference held at ChampionsGate!

Delegation members included top leaders of South Korean universities and industry partners, and featured a welcome by Osceola County Vice Mayor Cheryl Grieb For Osceola and a panel discussion with Osceola County Manager Don Fisher, Valencia College President Dr. Kathleen Plinske, Osceola County School District Superintendent Dr. Mark Shanoff, Space Florida Vice President Matt Chestnut, and Osceola Economic Development Center Korea Director Hunter Kim.

The panel explored NeoCity’s existing relationships with South Korean partners and opportunities to expand those connections in the years ahead, particularly through the lenses of workforce development, investment in education, and advanced manufacturing and semiconductor technologies.

With more than $500 billion in investment slated from South Korean companies at NeoCity, the discussion highlighted the significant economic opportunities for future partnerships, collaboration, and networking that can further strengthen the U.S.-Korea relationship.
