Walnut Butcher Block glue up…starts with laying out the strips to ensure the grain pattern and color variations are aesthetically pleasing, then it’s a dry fit. The last step is adding the glue and clamping it.
If the wood is properly milled, there should be no gaps between strips and don’t require a ton of clamping pressure.

Restored Butcher Block with Walnut Inlay
Our customer saved a piece of their maple butcher block countertop from their old home before moving. We restored it and added a walnut inlaid image and their old address. The memories of their old home will now be displayed in their new home.
