Here in Central Florida, a great deal of the region runs on tourism—Disney World, Universal, International Drive, Orlando hotels, Port Canaveral cruises, all the transportation companies that move visitors around—and every one of them is being punished by higher fuel costs and outrageous commercial insurance rates. Small operators running shuttles, vans, and luxury transportation are paying record amounts just to keep vehicles on the road, while insurance companies pocket huge premiums and give nothing back even when there are no claims. That should be illegal.
