As I get older, and as a veteran involved with veteran organizations, I understand Memorial Day more and more every year.

It’s not just another holiday or a day off. It’s a reminder of the men and women who gave everything and never got the chance to come home.

Today is about honoring their sacrifice, remembering their names, and never taking our freedoms for granted.

Please take a moment today to remember the fallen and the families who carry that loss every single day.
