Hello my fellow networkers, I am Kristy Starr and I am relaunching this platform because AI and Scamming is more prominent than ever. We need to shake hands with our neighbors, and love them as ourselves. Between all of the connections we had for our previous events, we will have plenty of areas to help connect. First is neuro divergent friendly!
So, first up, Speed Networking is on the docket and then the main event called Bev's & Biz. I need locations that would be laid back maybe have games around and things to do while we rotate and have chat breaks. Co****le, billiards, lawn darts, bocce ball, etc. I really like the theme that always seems to emerge, we have always had a vibe similar to adult business kegger meets + backyard grilling+ local spot. As you think remember, I try to pick places with good food variety, variety of alcohol types and non-alcoholic drinks, with tall tables and ceilings. Food truck lots are great if the seating is perfect. Any advice on locations or folks that want to be the entry host, help coordinate and get their name in front of the masses. It is 6-months away so don't hesitate to ask and be in charge of your area or district.
The online version will start in January '27, February-May will be in person and then June will be virtual again. July-November will be in person and December will be virtual. This is to respect how hectic the holidays, New Year and school transitions can be. There will only be one host for the virtual events and then I am looking to host the events in as many places as possible. Not only am I looking for hosts, locations, attendees and sponsors, but as a remote worker and mobile pet sitter I am constantly in different parts of the state. I could set up events, run the social media, and websites. I am just about to dive into my online presence because it has been so neglected because of the harassment students were subjecting me to when I taught in 2025.
