We're hiring a Chief Financial Officer at Yurok Telecommunications Corporation (YTEL).

This isn't your typical CFO role. YTEL is a tribally-owned ISP serving Yurok country in rural Northern California — and we're growing fast. We're looking for a financial leader who's ready to grow with us, navigate federal grant compliance (including NTIA/TBCP funding), and help build something that genuinely matters for our community.

What we're looking for:
✔ Senior-level financial leadership and strategy experience
✔ Regulatory, grant, and audit compliance background
✔ Comfort in a startup/growth-stage environment
✔ Tribal preference applies — we strongly encourage applications from Native American/Alaska Native candidates

If you know someone who fits this role, please share!

📢 Important Billing Update for Yurok Connect Customers

You may have recently received a letter about an upcoming change to Yurok Connect billing. We want to help clarify what this means and what you need to do.

Starting February 1, 2026, billing for Yurok Connect services will move from the Yurok Tribe to the Yurok Tribe Telecommunications Corporation (YTEL).

What this means for you:

Payments will no longer be accepted at Tribal front offices after January 31, 2026

Any existing autopay or online payment access will end and will need to be set up again with YTEL

Your account number will stay the same

Residential Standard and Premium plans will be moved to a single unified plan (10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload) at the same rate you’re currently paying

Action needed:
Customers should set up their new online billing portal with YTEL. Credit card payments will be made through this new portal. We will be adding additional payment methods in the future.

Sign up here:
https://register.yuroktelecom.com/portal-signup

You’ll need either your phone number or account number to register (your account number can be found on your statement).

If you have questions or need help, the YTEL billing team is happy to assist:
