We’re thrilled to announce our recent $100,000 donation to the La Porte County Fairground Management & Events Corporation.

These funds represent our permanent support for the agricultural community and will go towards important building upgrades at the fairgrounds, as well as continued investment in local 4-H programming.

Our Yellowstone solar project represents a meaningful investment in both energy infrastructure and the local economy in La Porte County.

By utilizing the local union workforce, the project is expected to create high-quality jobs while generating significant new tax revenue to support schools, public services, and long-term community development.

We are thrilled to announce our donation of $35,000 to the Unity Foundation of La Porte County to establish a permanent Hoosier Solar Community Fund to address the County’s greatest needs.

Through the Unity Foundation’s matching opportunity with Lilly Endowment Inc., every dollar contributed is matched by two additional dollars. This means that Hoosier Solar’s donation will triple to $105,000. Community funds like Hoosier Solar’s help generate flexible grant dollars that enable the Unity Foundation to respond to both current and emerging needs throughout La Porte County.

Hoosier Solar is excited to be a platinum sponsor of the 2025 Yellowstone Trail Fest, which is scheduled August 16 and 17 at the Starke County Fairgrounds in Hamlet. The Yellowstone Trail, which was the first transcontinental automobile highway in the United States, originated in Massachusetts and passed through Hamlet en route to Washington State.
