Day 2 at the Historic Sam Houston Schoolhouse is in the books. There’s one more opportunity to see the living history/reenactment, vendors, and artifacts (presented by Southeast Relic Hunters) Sunday March 16th! Gate opens at 10:00am. The reenactment will begin around 2:00pm. If you have an interest in history, you’ll want to check it out!

This is the only photo I got at the Field Trip/Homeschool day at the Sam Houston Schoolhouse today. It was busy, Preston is out of town, and Brandon was being helpful with staff. Still a great time! Probably some of the best groups of kids we have presented for! You can still come out Saturday and/or Sunday. Gate opens at 10:00am!!

Preston tries out his 1851 C**t Navy! After finding countless Civil War bullets, Preston wanted to see for himself what it was like to use a Civil War revolver. So, we set out with his Christmas present to test it out!
