Monsanto, an international sustainable agricultural company, (http://www.monsanto.com/pages/default.aspx) will be on campus today for the “Employer of the Day” initiative from 11 to 4pm in the Haslam Business Building Atrium and a networking session from 6:30 to 7:30pm in Haslam Room 201 where they will discuss “Sustainability in the Supply Chain.”

Information on our guests:

Jessica Spurgin is the Project Management Office Lead in procurement at Monsanto. She is the main contact for any student who has a co-op experience with Monsanto in the procurement office.

Mark Baxa who serves as the Vice President of Global Procurement Strategy. Mark will be at the table during the day and leading the networking session and talk on sustainability tonight. He serves on the board for CSCMP at the national level with your esteemed professor Ted Stank.

Please stop by the table and introduce yourself or join us at the networking session tonight, as Jessica and Mark are eager to meet students from CSCMP!

The local chapter of National Contract Management Association (NCMA) is offering 1 full-time, Supply Chain Management student

* Financial Support = $1500 scholarship
* Chapter membership = valuable experience to learn more about procurement/acquisitions and running a non-profit as well as networking with industry professionals

What do you need to submit before April 30?

* Completed application
* Essay
* 2 references
* Official, sealed transcript

What will you do if you receive the scholarship?

* Attend a luncheon on June 3, 2015
* Actively participate in the organization 2015-2016 (this may include co-chairing a committee and monthly meetings/trainings)
