I received a bunch of messages about the last audio post, so I thought I'd create a list with links to help sort out the parts.
Thanks for your interest in our audio components for your 2018+ Goldwing. 2006-2017 kits are coming in late fall.
Power Pods.
The first part of this upgrade is our Power Pods, which increase the front speakers from the stock 4.5" pincushion to a standard 6.5" speaker.
Volume and frequency response are mostly dictated by the cone size, so larger is better.

Front Speakers.
If you only want to upgrade your speakers, consider our USA-made coax speakers. No replacement of the speaker pods required.

For those looking for more or detailed output, the Power Pod 6.5" speakers are the way to go.
The Cicada horn drivers will have the most output.
The Cicada CXX65.2/4 are the match for the drop-in rear Cicadas if you are looking for an easy way to pick drivers.

Rear speakers.
The Tour has a 4.5" pincushion in the trunk. The Standard (Bagger) requires the Honda accessory kit to install them at the front of the saddlebags. 2 options available.

The Cicada CXX4.2/4 is our go-to for the rears when pairing with an amplifier for more output and improved sound quality.

Amplifiers.
We currently offer 3 options: one 4-channel and two 5-channel.
We have done all of the work for you, and all of them are 'Plug & Play".
We only offer amps that meet their rated output (or better).
The 5th channel would be used to run an optional subwoofer (we have 3 different options currently in development). If you have any thoughts that you might add one, select the 5-channel. When you do the subwoofer upgrade, you will not have to add another amp, power wire, trigger wires, or signal wires. The 5-channel units will be easier to set up as well.
Elite.
We partnered with Elite to offer what we consider to be one of the best-built and performing amps for the money. 2-year warranty.
4-channel is rated at 600 watts.
5-channel is rated at 860 watts.

Match.
The M5.4DSP is built in Germany by Audiotech Fischer.
It features an incredible 31 channels per speaker of tuning capability. Think back to slider equalizers ...now imagine 31 of those, but for each speaker. This allows us to perfectly 'tune' the speakers to the bike and your ears.
800 watts of Class HD power.
Uses the OEM Honda power connector for its primary power and ground.
Hands down the smallest amplifier available for the Goldwing.

Labor.
Labor rates are based on a primarily stock bike. Most accessories will not add additional cost, but some can if they impact the install.
Rates shown are for products purchased from Electrical Connection in conjunction with your installation appointment. Rear speakers. 1 hour. $150
Non-DSP amplifier. 1 hour. $150
DSP amplifier. 1 hour labor, 1 hour tuning, with one complimentary retune included. $300
