Part of helping people solve complex problems as a team & get more value of being Agile - I like to surround myself with beautiful art and beautiful Agile tools. Today is a special day in America, where we honor a legend, Martin Luther King Jr, with a day of service. We are also in the midst of a big transition in America and this week will likely be extra challenging for many. In light of both, I wrote this piece in all sincerity. Scrum Masters, America is in need of you! I took the 5 Scrum Team values (often practiced in our Retrospectives) and shared a bit about how our politicians would benefit greatly from having Scrum Masters coach them in how to work effectively within a team to identify and prioritize problems, and then create solutions and implement them. I'm genuinely curious to hear what others think and please let me know if you want to join me in this endeavor. To effectively help others solve complex problems as a team you need to be prepared yourself to take on all the challenges that come with that endeavor. Water, good tunes, & intentionally stopping to smell the roses are part of my daily routine to prepare myself!
