Carpenter bees and bumble bees look similar at first glance — but there’s a key difference. 🐝

Carpenter bees have a shiny, hairless abdomen and drill into wood to create nesting tunnels.
Bumble bees are fuzzy all over and typically nest in small underground colonies.
