Our hearts go out to the families of those lost in the horrible church shooting in Texas yesterday; And our gratitude goes to those brave citizens who stood up the shooter and stopped him.Had those citizens, and in particular the one man there who was able to arm himself not intervened, the loos have life would have been much greater.

Once again, a good guy with a gun stopped a violent act, and saved lives. If you carry a gun, CARRY IT, even when you go to church, or other places where you felt safe; lives may depend on it.

Freedom gets a WIN in Florida! Thanks, Governor Rick Scott!

Early yesterday evening, Friday, June 9th, Governor Rick Scott SIGNED INTO LAW the two critically important self-defense bills we have been urging him to sign.

One, SB-128 Burden of Proof by Sen. Rob Bradley and Rep. Bobby Payne restores the presumption of innocence in self-defense cases by putting the burden of proof BACK ON THE STATE where it belongs. SB-128 took effect IMMEDIATELY.

When prosecutors and judges use procedures to circumvent the rights of law-abiding people and the will of the Legislature, it cannot be tolerated.

Procedures do not have the weight of law and now the Legislature and the Governor have erased these abusive procedures in self-defense cases and have legislatively made sure these self-defense rights are reinstated. Pending cases should have the retroactive benefit of the Legislature and the Governor erasing these malicious procedures.

Hearing is a good thing, and silence (or at least quiet) is the polite way to be; these are the basic ideas behind the Hearing Protection Act, a proposed federal law that would make firearm suppressors (often called "silencers" ) available as a normally regulated purchase rather than an NFA item which requires a $200 tax stamp and months of paperwork; Unfortunately, due to people like Elizabeth Warren and Michael Bloomberg, the law, which has no downside for the public and would in fact be a benefit , is under attack.

Here's what YOU can do about it: the Gun Owners of America (GOA) has an easy to complete form that lets YOUR voice be heard by your US Senator; simply fill in some info and click , and your elected representatives will know how their constituents feel...

After 8 long years of being disrespected , vilified and generally blamed for most of societies problems by the last Administration, it's refreshing to be honored by the President, who apparently can tell the difference between the good guys (us) and the bad guys (the endless stream of people who rationalize their poor behavior by blaming society in general and the police in particular instead of taking personal responsibility for their misdeeds).....

Life is not fair; if 3 guys armed with knives break into your house and attack you, that's NOT a fair fight; if you fight back with an AR-15 and kill all three people who broke into YOUR house, that's the way things go; Is it "Fair ?" ; probably not, but the point of a gunfight is to SURVIVE, not be "fair" If those three guys had really wanted to live, they should have not broken into someone else's house....And someone should tell this guy that....
