This is a love story if there ever was one! They met in Bible study and married in 1971. They were both PhD’s. She in Chemical Engineering and he in Economics. Together they established and ran Pac-West LLC, an oil data collection journal for the Pacific Rim. Concurrently, they ran the family business of owning the Mark Twain Cave which was purchased by the family in 1923. The cave, purchased from Dr. Joseph Nash McDowell who had acquired it in the late 1840’s, was made famous by author Mark Twain (Samuel Langhorne Clemens), who created the Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. It is considered a National treasure. They loved Beagles and always had one. They never had children. They were very much in love and worked side-by-side for 48 years until he passed two years ago.
Plenty of parking in this lovely neighborhood. The large House is on a short upward slope, and it is full of ephemera from 1800 through present. 60’s modern Danish furniture and furnishings, decorative art, office furniture and equipment, and more!

· Entertaining –Dinnerware, flatware, sets of steak knives,tumblers,servers,
and side dishes. Linens, napkins, placemats.
· Electronics – Three Apple Computers; two recent and one very old one. An iPhone 6, an old iPad. Cameras, flip phones, land line phone system, miscellaneous small items.
· Furniture –.Modern style bedroom furniture by Bassett in the master including a king bed, dresser with mirror, and tall boy. Twin beds in the second bedroom, a modern chest of drawers, several side tables. In the living room, a lovely sectional, a coffee table, a pair of wingback chairs, end tables, a display cabinet in the shape of a grandfather clock, a beautiful walnut shelf unit covering the entire living room wall. An Entry Table. Two offices with modern walnut executive desks, secretarial desks, numerous late model swivel office chairs, with and without arms, numerous walnut bookcases of all shapes. File cabinets of all shapes, vintages.
A darling iron yellow breakfast nook table and two chairs with a glass top.
· Furnishings – Lamps, Mirrors, Clocks, Wall Shelf units, Wall Art.
· Garage – A table saw, tools, vintage file cabinets.
· Jewelry – Mostly costume
· Kitchen, coffeemaker, crock pot, microwave, electric oven, waffle maker,
pots and pans, cookbooks, lots of corning ware bakers. ,
· Linens – Sheets, pillowcases, blankets, comforters,pillows,mattress pads·
suitcases.
Media – LP’s and cassettes.
Sewing – Singer Sewing Machine, Queen Anne cabinet, fabric, embroidery
kits, notions.
