We’re looking for reliable, hard working, self motivated people to join our VIP Team as Hosts for our Mobile Medical Units! This position includes traveling nationwide to prepare & host the Mobile Unit for Veteran examinations, welcoming practitioners and the Veterans to the mobile unit, as well as other basic administrative duties. Weeknights and weekends are free for exploring and sightseeing! All travel expenses are paid.

Veterans In Professions, Inc. (VIP) is seeking a reliable, CDL Class B (air brakes) Driver to fill in from time to time to transport a mobile medical unit for Veterans nationwide. The unit is on the road continuously, 12 months a year and we're looking for someone to relieve our primary drivers for 1-2 weeks at a time.

Most evenings, weekends and holidays are not scheduled, so while on the road you will have time for sight-seeing, exploring new areas and enjoying attractions in each location.

In addition to driving the unit, this position also includes welcoming Veterans to the medical unit for appointments and basic administrative duties while at each location during regular business hours.

Requirements:

Must have CDL Class B

Hard working, reliable, self-motivated and a good attitude

Patient, personable and a desire to work with our Veteran population

Must be 21 years of age or older

Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record - no violations within the last 3 years

Willing to travel

Weekends are typically off, although on the road, unless a drive day is scheduled to relocate for the next exam location

Can lift up to 75 lbs. without reasonable accommodation

Job Type: Contract

Payment Terms:

Weekly Compensation based on driving days per week and experience

Drivers are paid twice per month

Daily per diem paid at GSA rates (non-taxed and typically ranges from $56/day)

Pre-approved hotel, vehicle rental, airfare, fuel, and tolls are authorized for reimbursement
