i got to swim with whales today!! a mom and a baby.

they stopped their paths for quite a long time for me and very slowly started to swim. so i swam with them side by side for a while...

wow... such elegant creatures ... what an honor.

the last time i was here they had just left for Alaska. from snow boots to beach sandals i'm back to the southern islands of Japan, wondering around with one agenda in mind ... whale. it would be easier if i just pay the dive shop and join the tour, but i didn't want to force my way out just to get to close to them.. like harassment. so i decided to wait till they find me.

and tonight during my evening meditation i saw her! she was splashing, blowing air and sticking her nose out there.

i'm not in hurry. one of these days, she'll let me hear her song and swim with her. i just know it.
