PHP versions 5.6 and 7.0 are now considered "end of life". If your website is using PHP (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.) your site should really be running at least PHP 7.1 or newer. QTH.com hosting customers can change the version of PHP by logging into their cPanel control panel and clicking "Select PHP Version". If you change to a different version of PHP and notice a problem, you can switch back to the old version of PHP quickly, then look into the issue. As always, let us know if you need help! PHP version 7.1 is now available! Our web hosting customers can log into their cPanel control panel, then click "Select PHP Version" and choose which version of PHP they would like to use. Choices include 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 7.0 and now 7.1.

A new customer of ours shared with us that GoDaddy no longer offers refunds! If you purchase 1-3 years of hosting, and have to cancel, they will not give you any money back, unless you cancel within 30 days! Or if you purchase less than a year, you have to cancel within 48 hours!! That's just evil. People have many valid reasons for needing to cancel, which is why QTH offer full refunds for unused hosting, no strings attached:

We will be taking our current Billing and Support system offline later this evening (12/31/15), in order to start the process of migrating to a new system. We hope to have it back online within 24 hours (i.e. by the evening of 1/1/16).

While this is a big undertaking, and there will surely be some bumps in the road, we are VERY excited about the benefits the new Billing and Support system will bring to our customers. There will be much tighter integration with cPanel, increased security, easier domain transfers, better password reset process, more mobile friendly, etc. In addition, there are quite a few "under-the-hood" improvements that may not be obvious, but will enhance your use of the system.
