Our calendar has been filling up FAST, so we’ve gotten a little creative and started adding weekday sales to the mix. And it turns out… we love them! They give shoppers who may not normally be able to make a weekend sale a chance to come treasure hunting, too. 💙

Estate clean-outs are about more than clearing a home - they’re about handling what’s left behind with care, efficiency, and purpose. 💙

When Blue Bike Estate Sales takes on a clean-out, we start by walking through the home and assessing exactly what needs to be done. Our team works strategically to break items down and maximize space, often allowing us to complete an entire clean-out with just one dumpster, and typically in one day.

But before anything goes into that dumpster, we do everything we can to give usable items a second life.

We coordinate closely with our donation partners, including Treasure House in Glen Ellyn, which is affiliated with Metropolitan Family Services, to donate as much as possible. We also work with a local scrapper to keep metal items out of the landfill whenever we can.

Once the home is cleared, we don’t simply pack up and leave. We sweep and vacuum the space, so the family is left with a clean, empty blank canvas ready for whatever comes next.

If your family is preparing a home for sale, settling an estate, downsizing, or navigating another life transition, we would love to help make the clean-out process a little easier.

From sale-ready to completely cleared out. ✨

These before-and-after photos show what happens after a successful Blue Bike Estate Sale.

The "before" photos were taken once everything had been organized, priced, and beautifully displayed for shoppers. The "after" photos show the home after the sale was complete and the remaining contents had been removed - leaving the family with a clean, empty space and one less thing to worry about.

Estate sales are about so much more than selling belongings. They're about helping families move forward during life's transitions, and we're honored to be part of that journey.
