California Acoustics and Teter Architects worked together to consult and design the acoustic treatment of the Lake Don Pedro Elementary School Gym in 2016. After the design completion and the project was awarded, California Acoustics provided the installer the MBI Lapendary banners shown below for the ceiling acoustics.

Testimonial:

Mr. Pardini-
It was a pleasure working with your organization for our acoustical improvement project at our elementary school at Lake Don Pedro.

The building had been being used for a few years with terrible acoustics, to where we actually had to use another site for graduations, etc.

After the acoustical improvements were completed the site has reported a huge improvement and we are excited to use the building for multiple uses moving forward.

Thank you for helping us reach our goal to provide the best learning environment for our students!

While I was taking measurements for an estimate with a crowd of kids in the room a young girl came up to me and asked, "What are you doing?"

I said, "We are going to quiet down this room."

She patted me on the arm and replied, "Good Luck with that." And skipped away. :)

Doggie Day Care is a repeat client who was so happy with the results of thier first acoustic treatment by California Acoustics at their location in on Bascom Ave they had us treat their new facility in Saratoga.

Less echo means less barking, which leads to less barking in the dog world. Employees and dogs are very happy needless to say.

Testimonial:
"Hi Mike,

Thanks for checking in! The acoustic panels have been a game-changer in our doggy daycare -- we're hearing less barking and seeing lot's of tails wagging. We appreciate the California Acoustics team's quick work and I'm sure our neighbors do too!"

Thanks,

Katie"

Calfornia Acoustics has a tall order to fill for the UCSC in Santa Clara.

We are tasked with covering all the windows of a 3 story commercial building within two weeks after the notice to proceed. To minimize the impact of classes, we completed two sides of the building before pile driving starts October 1.

California Acoustics assisted with the design, provided materials and managed installation.

California Acoustics had over 4000 Lbs of clear vinyl noise barrier manufacturing expedited and flown in from the East Coast and Southern California. We worked every day for 11 days straight to complete the installation.

Phase 2 is starting up next week.

Prolonged noise increases risk for stroke and heart attack:

Ongoing and lengthy exposure to everyday noise such as cell-phone rings or traffic, increases heart rate and decreases heart rate variability - two risk factors for cardiac problems.

Self-defense: Take deep breaths to ease your body's response to noise. Block out loud noises with sound-blocking headphone and/or white noise.

Working with Stanford Linear Accelerator (now called SLAC) to quiet a large diesel engine that powers a cooling tower, which provides cool water for the accelerator. Will use a special designed large Sound Seal noise enclosure made of heavy acoustic blankets on a steel frame with intake and exhaust vents around the engine. The accelerator itself is 3,000 yards long, 25' underground and of course, perfectly straight. The long building above ground can be seen off Hwy 280.
