Injection Plastics & Mfg., formerly known as TIPCO, was founded in 1969 in Tippecanoe, Indiana. Robert Strang Sr and his father Samuel Strang started the business in a small pole building. Around 1977 the name of the company was changed to Injection Plastics & Mfg. Injection Plastics & Mfg. remained in the same location until 2010. Expansion and new highway construction forced another move. This t

ime just a mile down the road to a brand new 22,500 sq. building at the current location. In the span of just 43 years, an idea between father and son has expanded from a small pole building with 2 employees part-time, to a corporation that now employs 9 people full-time and 4 part-time.

Injection Plastics & Mfg. is looking for a full-time Mold/Tool Setter role in Plymouth, IN. The Mold/Tool Setter will be responsible for loading hoppers/dryers, mixing materials, load and unload trucks, change tools in molding machines, training and other machining tasks on a day-to-day basis. Mechanical understanding is a benefit.
Qualifications: Troubleshooting and Machining skills - Communication and Training skills - Fork lift experience or Certification - Experience in tool setting or similar role is a plus but will train the right candidate - Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Must be able to lift 55 pounds - high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus. Experienced $20.00 - Inexperienced - will train $19.00
