LDAR Inventory Technician – Beaumont, TX

Location: Beaumont, Texas
Job Type: Full-Time
AmeriTek Environmental Services is hiring an LDAR Project Manager to support operations at a Beaumont facility. This is a field-based technical role. The most important requirement is strong experience reading and marking up P&IDs for LDAR inventories and MOC work.
If you cannot confidently interpret P&IDs, mark up drawings, and translate them into component tagging and tracking, this role is not a fit.
Primary Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and mark up P&IDs for LDAR scopes
Identify tanks, lines, tie-ins, and components directly from drawings
Perform field flagging and tagging based on P&IDs
Support MOCs, added/deleted component tracking, and re-inventories
Verify component counts against drawings and databases
Assist with startup inventories, V&V, and retagging projects
Track missing tags and field discrepancies
Maintain QA/QC on monitoring data
Work with Project Supervisor and client site contacts
Support LDAR databases (LeakDAS / SkyBridge or similar)
Assist with reporting and documentation
Follow all site safety requirements
This role supports the Project Supervisor. It does not manage crews or handle scheduling.
Required Experience
LDAR Project experience
Strong ability to read and mark up P&IDs
Hands-on flagging and tagging experience in operating units
Experience in refinery or chemical plant environments (Beaumont/Gulf Coast preferred)
Understanding of component classes (valves, pumps, connectors, flanges, etc.)
Familiar with MOC-driven inventory changes
Comfortable working in active process units
Solid computer skills (Excel, LDAR databases, handhelds)
Strong attention to detail

Re-inventory or Tagging experience
QA/QC background
Knowledge of HRVOC, NSPS, and NESHAP programs
Schedule and Compensation
4-day work week (Monday – Thursday)
10-hour shifts
Competitive pay based on experience
Paid travel and per diem when working away from home
