After their September meeting, the Fed announced they'll "soon" start tapering the asset purchases they used to bolster the economy through the pandemic, and they expect to raise rates next year. Before the temperatures begin to drop, you should inspect your fireplace and chimney. Make sure to clear away any remaining ash and clean the fire box. Have the inside of your chimney swept to remove soot and debris. Check for cracks in the chimney both inside and out. Look outside to make sure there are no tree limbs blocking the chimney. Sealing your driveway can extend its life and improve your home’s curb appeal. First, repair cracks and wash your driveway, allowing it to dry overnight. Then apply driveway sealant in small patches. Be sure to make your payments on time. Also, don’t apply for a new credit card or consolidate your debt onto one or two credit cards. Both actions could negatively impact your credit score. It is recommended you change this filter every six months. As your water filter begins to wear out, it will become less effective and could damage your refrigerator.
