Your board gives their time, their wisdom, and their belief in the Y. Thank them with something worthy of that commitment.

The YMCA: 175 Years of Innovation That Shaped America tells the story of what becomes possible when local leaders recognize a community need and have the courage to respond, the very thing your board does every day. Whether welcoming a new board member or thanking them for their dedication, this book is a thoughtful way to connect them to the movement.

Your team shows up every day to carry forward a 175-year mission. Give them something that reminds them why it matters.

The YMCA: 175 Years of Innovation That Shaped America is a beautiful way to thank the staff who live out the Y’s work in your community. It connects their daily efforts to a story that stretches back to 1851 and makes a lasting gift for recognition events, service milestones, and year-end appreciation.

Think you know the history of fitness? You might be surprised how much started at the YMCA.

A recent article in Rmag, written by James L. Haley and Sean Patrick Doles, explores the YMCA's remarkable role in shaping American life and the fitness culture we know today.

As a proud sponsor of YMCA: 175 Years of Innovation That Shaped America, Triangle2 is excited to see this history reaching new audiences. The book celebrates an organization whose legacy of innovation extends well beyond the gym, demonstrating what is possible when mission, community needs and bold ideas come together.

175 years of innovation. Countless lives impacted. And a story worth sharing.

Some days remind us exactly why we do what we do. Monday was one of those days!

Our Triangle2 team had the opportunity to volunteer by giving tours at the grand opening of the new Gary YMCA at the Tolleston Opportunity Campus, and we loved every minute of it.

Seeing the genuine connections between members and staff, hearing the pride in people's voices as they talked about their beautiful new Y, and spending time in conversation with the people who will bring this facility to life every day were some of our favorite moments.

Having been involved with this project from the beginning, seeing the doors open and the community embrace this new space was especially meaningful for our team. The Gary YMCA is so much more than a new building. It's a place for connections, opportunity and community to grow.

Congratulations to the Crossroads YMCA and the many partners who helped bring this incredible vision to life. We're grateful to have played a part in the journey and even more grateful to have shared in such a special day!

Our Triangle2 Y Service Club members Lori Swann, Helene Weir and Tom Massey had the chance to hear from Victoria Trofimova, General Secretary of the Ukraine YMCA, at the YMCA General Assembly on September 17.

The Triangle2 Y Service Club is proud to support the Ukraine YMCA by joining the US and Canada fundraising campaign and by helping acquire and support a summer camp for young people there.

At last year's T2 Innovation Summit, Sean Doles took a few minutes to talk about why he was passionate about sharing the Y story through a new resource for leaders.

His point was simple. The Y's history is not just a list of programs and buildings. It is 175 years of communities finding the courage to try something new, and it is still happening today.

Sean and coauthor James L. Haley captured that story in The YMCA: 175 Years of Innovation That Shaped America, now available at Triangle2.com/book.

Proceeds support the Triangle2 Innovation Fund for YMCA programs.
