I'm so behind on updates!
But here's some of the main man Amaro getting back in work for the 2025 show season! We got a good feel and some amazing homework to work on during our first (and certainly not last) lessons with Pippa Callanan.
We really worked on finding our "up" and self carriage and balance with relaxation and proper engagement and partnership.

Did you know that we are open to crossing our Canadian studs with outside breeds?
While we no longer breed crossbreds ourselves, and we don't cross our mares, but we are open to crossing our stallions to approved mares of other breeds and have done so very successfully over the years.
Of course, every mare we breed...(purebred or other) does need to apply so we make sure the resulting foal makes sense.
Here are some examples that have been crossed with other breeds!
To date, we have crossed with Arabs, QH, TB, WB (Hanoverian), Lusitano, Andalusian, and Mustang.

He is a sooty Golden palomino. A very special boy in the breed.
Tested ee, aa, nCr....Meaning he has a red base and carries one cream gene that can be passed on 50% of the time.
But if you also prefer your standard black color...he can do that too! When bred to a homozygous black mare he will only throw black base....no red or palomino.

Breeding availability update. May is booked out. June has 1 opening. July has 2 openings.
Of of course fresh collections are also available.
Please contact me asap if you want to get your mare booked in this year either on site or via shipped collections.
Breeding will be closed come Aug as Amaro will be going to be getting collected for storage.

From Ranch Races, to Horse Fair breed promo, to Breeding, to Driving! The golden boy never misses a beat.
Been driven a handful of times total...last time was in August time before that was over a year before then. Hitched and went to work like a pro. Hoping to get to a driving comp with him this year!
